Troubles with Instagram/Facebook and "#" hash parameter [updated]

Hi to all

we have just found out that if you had set your tracking links to have the hash "#" parameter in them and if your affiliates are using those links in Instagram or Facebook, the referred visits that they are sending from there will not be tracked. The cause of this is because Instagram and Facebook are removing the tracking parameter from the link.
If you have affiliates using Instagram and/or Facebook, then use the "Location parameter" for your affiliated link.
